Meet our Featured Beans!

Solbean Coffee is a home for all those who love to savor your mornings. You cherish the time you have to make magic in the kitchen whether it's by yourself or with loved ones.

If coffee has and will always be a part of you, I'd love for Solbean to be as well. I've curated a small collection of two types of beans; a Guatemalan and a Costa Rican. Each have a few similarities but also unique flavor notes for you to enjoy.

The Guatemalan is a bean with caramelized sugar notes, fruited brightness, cocoa bittersweets, syrupy mouthfeel. It's wonderful as a pour over or a French press! It's a medium roast so you'll experience a flavorful sensation!

The Costa Rican is a bean with orange citrus, caramelized sugar, and a fine chocolate feel. I used it for cold brew and it's got a punch of berry in there too!

You'll notice these beans are sold as a whole bean. Why? I want you to experience the most flavor and freshness when you purchase from Solbean. For medium to dark roasts, the longer you let whole beans sit (maximum 10 days) the more flavor you're going to taste. When you pick them up, they are between 2-3 days old so the flavor it good but give it 2 more days and it'll be fabulous! When I start selling a light roast, that is the bean that you could and should immediately enjoy! So, I recommend investing in a coffee grinder (I have them in My Storefront!) and learning the types of grounds you can try (blog post on that coming soon!)

What's the perk of shopping with Solbean? Your supporting a women owned small business! A dream of mine is to open a coffee shop side by side with a photography studio, so roasting coffee beans is the first step in making that dream a reality!

So, thank you. Thank you for shopping Solbean! I couldn't do it without you!
